You can add benefits to employees already in the platform, or after adding new employees<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. From the home screen, use the Menu<\/strong> button to select Employee Maintenance<\/strong>.\"\"<\/li>
  2. Use the I want to: <\/strong>drop-down to select Add Benefit to an Employee<\/strong>. Then, in the Select Employee: <\/strong>drop-down, select the employee<\/strong>.<\/li>
  3. Click Submit<\/strong>.\"\"<\/li>
  4. Enter an Effective Date<\/strong>. This designates when the benefit should become active for the employee.<\/li>
  5. Use the Event Date<\/strong> field to track when you made this request.<\/li>
  6. Enter an appropriate Reason<\/strong> for why the benefit is getting added.\"\"<\/li>
  7. Click Show <\/strong>within the blue Benefits <\/strong>ribbon if the benefits are not displayed (see above example<\/em>).<\/li>
  8. Check Apply <\/strong>and complete any applicable information associated to a particular benefit (ex: beneficiaries for life).<\/em><\/li>
